1.
a) Open AutoCAD application from desktop shortcut icon or start menu.
b) Click on “Open icon” and select “CH11_EXERCISE 1” file then click on “Open” button to open the document.
2. Select “Notes” text style.
3. Type “TEXT” and press ENTER KEY.
4. Pick a point on workspace to start the text box.
5. Enter “0” as rotation angle.
6. Enter the text like shown below.
7. Right click on text area and select “Insert field” option from the popup menu.
8. Now select “Date & Time” from field category list.
9. Select “PlotDate” from the field names list.
10. Click on “OK” button.
11. Now press ENTER KEY.
12. The inserted field shown like below image.
13. Press plus “P” to plot the document and select printer as “DWG to PDF.pc3” and select “Window” as what to plot area then click on “OK” button.

Save the print file.

14. Observe the printed file there no ---- here the date of printed is added.
15. Save the file by clicking on quick save icon from quick access menu.
