1.
a) Open AutoCAD application from desktop shortcut icon or start menu.
b) Click on “Open icon” and select “CH11_EXERCISE 1” file then click on “Open” button to open the document.
2. Open “NOTEPAD” application. Then enter the shown text and save the file as “Notes”.
3. Save the file as “Notes”.
4. Open AutoCAD application and type “MTEXT” and press ENTER KEY.
5. Set the text window size as 2” wide and 2” tall.
6. Right click inside the text window and select “import text” option.
Select “Notes” file.
Click on “Background mask” button and turn on the use background mask check box then click on “OK” button.
Now select “Middle Center MC” as justification.
Now select the text and click on find and replace button and enter “test” as replace text then click on “Replace all” button.
Now change the letter case as “UPPERCASE” by clicking on “Uppercase” text style.
7. Save the document by clicking on quick save icon from quick access tool bar.
