How to edit the text in AutoCAD

1.
a) Open AutoCAD application from desktop shortcut icon or start menu.
b) Click on “Open icon” and select “CH11_EXERCISE 1” file then click on “Open” button to open the document.

2. Select multiline text.

3. Drag the text by using top right corner grip box.

4. Press Esc key to exit from selection.

5. Double click on multiline text.

6. Right click on arrows and type “3” as Mtext Width.

7. Select all the text by pressing <ctrl>+ A from key board.

8. Now select “ARCHITECTURAL” as text style and change the text height and boldness by showing like below.

9.Select few text from multiline text editor and change the indentation.

10. Double click on “Single line text”.

11. Change the text by entering new text.

12. Press ENTER KEY to exit from text editor.

13. Save the file by clicking on quick save icon from quick access menu.

Draw a line using polar co-ordinate system in AutoCAD

1. Open AutoCAD software from desktop short cut or from start menu. 2. Now type "LINE" and press ENTER KEY. Then enter 0,0 as first point of the line. 3. Then type 5<30 as second point of the line. This "<" symbol is used for the line point moves to 30 degrees from positive x-axis. 4. Now again type 2.45<270 as next point of the line. 5. How to use perpendicular object snap in AutoCAD
