1.a) Open AutoCAD application from desktop shortcut icon or start menu.
b) Open previously saved document.
2.Now select all elements by using mouse and press delete key to erase all selected elements.
3.Turn OFF all the tools from status bar by clicking the icons individually.
4.Now select View menu, then click on “Extents” option from navigation 2D panel.
5.Now click on “Ortho” icon from status bar to turn on “Ortho mode”.
6.Now click on “Home” menu and select “Line” tool from Draw panel.
7.Type “2,2” as starting point of the line.
8.And move the cursor right side, here we can observe the cursor locked in 0 degrees.
9.Type “2” as distance of the line.
10.Now move the cursor upwards and type “2” as distance of the line element.
11.Now move the cursor leftwards and enter “2” as the distance of the line element.
12.Now click on “Close” option to end the line element with starting point.
13.Now save the current drawing by click on save icon from quick access tool bar.
