1.
a)Open AutoCAD application from desktop shortcut icon or start menu.
b)Open previously saved document.
2.Turn OFF all the tools from status bar by clicking the icons individually.
3.Right click on “Polar Tracking” icon and select “Settings” option from the popup menu.
4.Enter 45 as increment angle and make sure to select Absolute Radio button checked from Drafting setting dialog box, then select “OK” button.
5.Now Turn ON “POLAR TRACKING” by clicking on polar tracking icon or by pressing “F10” function key from key board.
6.Select line command tool from draw panel.
7.Now Enter “3,5.5” as starting point of the line segment.
8.Move the cursor until it shows 45 degrees dynamically.
9.Type “2” as distance of the line segment and press ENTER KEY.
10.Now move the cursor until it shows 135 degrees dynamically.
11.Enter “2” as the distance of the line segment and press ENTER KEY.
12.Now move the cursor until it shows 225 degrees dynamically.
13.Type “2” as the distance of the line segment and press ENTER KEY.
14.Then click on “Close” option displayed in command window.
15.Now save the current drawing by using “save icon” from quick access tool bar.
